a courageous girl journey
Next to my business role as Marketing executive and mom role, I wrote a children’s book titled “May for President,” intended for children aged 6 to 10. The story follows a girl named May who dreams of becoming president. When she is told that girls can’t be president, she embarks on a courageous journey, with her loyal dog Donut, to present her questions to the president personally. Along the way, she overcomes various challenges.
I wrote this book for my own daughter, Loiz. As a girl, she can find a female lead character in only 17% of the sold children’s books. It’s important for girls to have allies like you— man who believe in courageous women and diverse and inclusive work environment. You will be starring next to i.e. Greg Creed former CEO of Yum brands and Taco Bell.
