When May is told by her teacher that girls cannot become president, she is determined to prove otherwise. Together with her dog Donut, she sets out to prove that she too can become president later. Will she succeed?

Trix van der Vleuten (1980) is a writer, marketer and commissioner. She studied socio-cultural sciences at the Free University and works as a marketer for multinationals. She is also a keynote speaker and teaches at universities. She was previously included in the MT/Sprout Next Leadership 50 and the SER Top Women list.

On holiday, she began work on her children’s book debut, which focuses on themes of female leadership, diversity and inclusion and growth mindset. She lives in Amsterdam with her husband, three children and their labradoodle Brownie.
